Biography

Giles & Rosa started dancing together several years ago. They trained together in Los Angeles with the Rumberos Dance Company, in Cuba with the Narcisso Medina Dance Company and in New York with the famous Eddie Torres, the Santo Rico Dance Company and Nelson Flores.

Together, they have established themselves as great teachers and performers across the UK. They have performed and taught at various Salsa week-enders such as the UK Salsa Congress, the famous Pontins, L’Ecole de Danse de Monique Mufraggi etc…

To improve the level of intermediate dancers, Giles & Rosa have developped Salsa Performance Courses to take their dancers to the next level of dancing. Their Onsalsa Student Group has now performed twice and their performances thrilled their audiences with excitement.

Lately, they have formed a professional group with another salsa duo, Jim & Fritah. called IGNITE Mambo Dancers and they have started performing across the UK (video available on this blog).

Giles & Rosa believe that salsa should be fun and they ensure their meet their students’ needs and give them their full attention for them to progress steadily. So come and join their lessons to have a great enjoyable time!
